Recipe of the Week- 12.21.15

Prep Time: 10 minutes


Spinach Hummus:

2 cups Baby Spinach 1 cup chickpeas 1/2 Tbsp olive oil 1 Tbsp lemon juice 1 Tbsp tahini 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes 1/2 – 1 whole clove garlic pinch of sea salt

Christmas Trees:

2 whole grain pita breads 16 pretzel sticks 1 red bell pepper or 1 tomato (diced)


1) Cut each round of pita bread into 8 triangles.

2) Put pretzel stick into the bottom end of each pita.

3) Spread a layer of spinach hummus on each piece of pita bread.

4) Chop the bell pepper or tomato into small pieces and decorate the pita trees
